Who we are

Rev-Restore is a powder coating and blasting workshop. We're responsible for the details you give us. If you have any question about them, email admin@rev-restore.co.uk.

What we collect

• When you book or ask for a quote: your name, email address and phone number, the parts and finish you want, any notes, and any photos you send of the parts.
• When you pay a deposit: payments are taken by Stripe. We see that you've paid and how much, but we never see or store your card number.
• When you visit the site: we count visits without cookies. See “Website visits” below.

Why we use it

• To do the job you've booked: book you in, contact you about your parts, tell you when they're ready, and take payment.
• To price a job you've asked us to quote for.
• To keep the business records the law requires, such as payments for tax.

We use your details because you've asked us to do work for you (a contract), and to meet our legal duties. We don't sell your details, and we won't send you marketing.

Who else handles it

We use a few trusted services to run bookings, and they handle your details only on our behalf:

• Stripe takes deposit payments.
• Vercel and Neon host the booking system and its database.
• An email service sends your booking emails.
• Microsoft 365 holds our workshop calendar, which shows your name and the parts on your drop-off day.
• Telegram carries booking alerts to the workshop's phones.

Some of these providers may handle data outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for six years, because HMRC requires it. If you'd like your photos or anything else removed sooner, ask us and we'll delete whatever we don't have to keep.

Website visits

We count visits to this website without cookies. We don't store your IP address or anything that identifies you, and we can't recognise you from one day to the next. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal, you aren't counted at all. Visit counts are deleted after 13 months.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email admin@rev-restore.co.uk and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
